About Us
Our Savior's Lighthouse is a Christian faith-based child and family development program for families with children ages 6 weeks-10 years old. We embrace all families in the process of building stronger communities. The Lighthouse project provides a nurturing child care environment to qualified families that fully participate in the program and continue to demonstrate progress in developing protective factors. Our vision is to create a program that will assist families in the efforts to become informed, strong members of our community. This program increases the potential success of children and the Lake area's families by taking a holistic and systematic approach to the opportunities and barriers family face in our society today. This innovative approach addresses the needs of the child as an individual, as a member of a family, and that family as a member of our community through individualized goal-setting, parent education and empowerment. Our Saviors lighthouse program focuses on christian character-building through experiential learning opportunities that are focused on increasing community and social awareness in participating children and families. The lighthouse is founded on the belief that the success of the child becomes the success of the community.
Founded on Proverbs 22:6, Our saviors lighthouse believes that helping families raise children in a well-rounded school and home will result in quality character-building principles and thus will continue to nourish and direct that child throughout his or her life.
